Vision

The Vision of the Canterbury Baptist Church is to extend the ministry of CBC into the community in a meaningful way by making a commitment to long-term care for the elderly by developing a new built Church with Retirement apartments on the existing Church grounds.

The new Church will have all the 21st century amenities required to reach out to and service our community and make a Christian impact in Canterbury via our existing and newly planned ministries.

The Retirement development will enable, on request, extra care and support services, if and when needed. The focus will be on maintaining the independence of the elderly resident and offering a meaningful life in a safe, secure community that is managed as a centre of excellence based on Christian principles and which is to be a long-term care ministry for CBC.
