Y Course

Welcome to Canterbury Baptist Church's Y Course. This is an 8 week course which looks at some of life's biggest questions such as; why is there so much suffering in the world? Do all religions lead to God? Is there more to life than this? How do we know the bible is accurate? If you want to discuss some of life's biggest questions and see if Jesus can make a difference in your life then do join us on our next course.

Who is the Y Course for?

The Y Course is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.

What is the Y Course?

The Y Course is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in an informal, fun and friendly environment. The course consists of short video clips which open up dicussions on the different questions of life. We meet for a meal and each video clip is followed by discussion in small groups, in which open and free dicussion is encouraged. The course runs one evening a week, for 8 weeks.

'More to Life' DVD

The 'More to Life' DVD, produced by Viz-a-Viz ministries, includes several brief stories of how everyday people became Christians. Together with Viz-a-Viz, we produced a direct mailshot that was distributed throughout Canterbury and gave away copies of the DVD to interested respondents.
