As part of our aim to be a multi-cultural community, we provide a relaxed friendship and Bible Study group for international students from overseas.
The evenings include an opportunity to practice English conversation skills, complete Bible studies that help you understand the Christian belief, and pray together.
It is very exciting to have a wide network of friends across the whole world! Herewith, a short story from one of our international friends:

"Canterbury was the place where God answered my prayers. One of which was to find a warm and friendly church at which to worship. At Canterbury Baptist Church I found a lot more. I made friendships which I still hold dear, I learnt the truth about the Word of God and about myself. I learnt new songs. I remember looking forward to Sundays because of the songs and the church band! The Bible was always taught with a practicality that made for day to day application. At Canterbury Baptist Church Pastor Stedman went out of his way to answer my questions about God and to make me feel welcome in a new church. This helped my faith and strenghtened my resolve to work with God.
