Why would we want to know God?

There’s a bit of a trend in seeing spirituality as another helpful tool for our wellbeing.

Though knowing God is good for us, Jesus is far more specific. His claim is that He came so that we might know the love of God as He Himself has experienced the love of the Father.

We are invited to be a part this loving trinitarian community: God in us, and us in God.

If you’d like to know more, and get specific, come join us Sunday.

Do you sometimes feel like all you have is trouble? Unexpected stress, problems at work, family struggles?

Jesus made it clear that following Him doesn't mean an easy life, quite the opposite. But in Jesus is found a peace that transcends the pain.

Is this what you're looking for?

Come join us Sunday morning to find out more.

What happens to a rose bud when you sever the branch? What happens to humanity if we separate ourselves from God?

Nothing good…

What would happen if we instead reconnected to Him?

This week we look at Jesus’ words about life with or without His Father, and how remaining in Him is the way to flourish in joy.

Come join us Sunday to find out more.

Are you ever in need of encouragement?

I believe we all are, but encouragement isn't always easy to find.

Doing the 'right thing' often isn't easy either, and having someone alongside you, cheering for you, helping you to carry on, is invaluable.

Come join us this Sunday morning as we explore how the Holy Spirit helps us to live the kind of lives that bring life to the world.

Could there be anything more offensive to our culture than Jesus' claim that He is the only way anyone gets to meet with the Father?

How do you respond to Him, and why?

As well as experiencing the joy of even more baptisms (!!!), come and join us on Sunday morning to explore the good news of Jesus' radical message of salvation through Him alone.

We all understand the idea of teamwork when it comes to tasks, for instance, many hands make light work.

But in our individualistic culture is it time for us to recover the idea that partnering together can deepen our understanding of God?

Come join us this Sunday where we will welcome Ian Stackhouse, from Guildford Baptist Church, to share with us.
