As we continue reading the Book of Judges, we find another horrendous account, this time of a Judge making an unprompted vow to the LORD, trading victory for something of value to him, which turns out to be his daughter.

For us, we should be rightly horrified at this account, but it takes great humility to pause and ask, 'What am I trading with God for?' Is that even how a relationship with Him works?

Jesus shows us that He paid the ultimate price so superstitious bargains with God can, and should, be a thing of the past.

Come and meet with us, as we meet with Jesus, the God who paid it all and offers all we could ever need.

Do you believe this statement is true? Are we defined and gain value through our physical strength, especially as men?

Come join us Sunday morning as we contrast the chaotic ‘strength’ Gideon demonstrated, with the kind of strength Jesus demonstrated for us upon the cross.

As we see Gideon’s story come to a concerning end, we encounter a challenging worldview that is very much alive today. Who would we rather be like?

Have you ever thought you might have TOO many resources at your disposal? Too much strength, confidence, ability?

No, me neither...

But what we learn through the life of Gideon is that a faith filled life doesn't begin with our strength or power, but through trusting that God is enough.

Join us this Sunday morning as we explore part one of Gideon's life, as we're challenged to consider the idea that Jesus really is all we need.

When leaders stay silent, chaos reigns. But when one courageous woman stood up, everything changed.

There is undoubtedly a great deal of evil in the world, but have we given up on a better future for ourselves and our children?

God isn't looking for the perfect person—just a willing one. This week, we begin a short series in the book of Judges.

Join us as we explore these deeply flawed individuals and how today Jesus can work through us to fight for a better world.

How do we expect people to react to the message of Jesus?

In my experience, most people struggle to hear the words of Jesus and instead get caught up in the spotted history of the Church, unhelpful behaviour of well-meaning Christians, and society's sporadic rejection of value beyond the physical world. However, God's message of hope can break through; perhaps this is beginning to rise in our land.

Could we see such a transformation in our country as we did in Nineveh - the City of Blood?
Crazier things have happened!

Come and receive some God-given hope this Sunday morning, and witness someone responding in faith through baptism.

Have you faced a situation recently where you felt hopeless?

It's an awful feeling being out of control, at the mercy of forces outside of your control.

It is very possible to lose hope at times like these, and yet it has been the experience of Christians across every generation, that we often see God most clearly in our most difficult moments.

Come and join us Sunday morning as we hear about the God who meets us in the Deep.
